Lenovo Z570 is one good budget gaming laptop. It comes at a very cheap price and has a very good configuration. The laptop has a HDD capacity of 750 GB, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 3 USB ports and a 1 GB Nvidia Geforce graphics card.
The laptop has a 15.6’ screen and is very crisp and clear. The sound is very good and the speakers have SRS Surround Sound. The laptop is made for gaming. The graphics are very clear and GTA IV, which requires pretty heavy graphics rendering runs pretty smoothly in this laptop. The laptop has a separate numeric keypad and weighs around 2.6 kgs. It is not that portable for daily usage, but probably worth the money.
The laptop has many sophisticated features. One of them is changing the screen mode from Normal to Movie mode with just a touch button. There is a one touch recovery option, wherein in case of any crash, the laptop recovers to its factory settings. There are 4 different modes of fan speeds namely, Normal, Silent, Dedusting and Efficient Thermal Dissipation. The first two are self-explanatory. Dedusting mode helps in removing dust through the vent and also reduces temperature considerably. Efficient Thermal Dissipation helps in reduction of the heat and is very helpful during heavy applications. The general temperature of the laptop is pretty decent (around 48 degrees) during general use. It goes upto 70 degrees while playing games and using heavy applications.
The keyboard is pretty good, however, the backspace key and the right shift key are relatively small in comparison to usual keyboards. There is no separation in the mouse keypad buttons. The laptop comes with different 2nd generation intel processors. Overall, it’s a good laptop and a good buy for gamers.
